雪城大学算不算名校
雪城大学是一家私立研究型大学，位于美国纽约州雪城，成立于1870年。1920年，雪城大学宣布自己为无宗派学校，但仍保持着与美国卫理公会的联系。雪城大学在1966年加入美国大学联盟。
学校校园位于大学山，在东部和东南部的市中心附近较大的山丘上。其特点是各时代建筑的最佳组合，从19世纪罗马式建筑到现代的建筑。雪城大学由13个学院组成，信息研究和图书馆学、建筑、通信、工商管理、公共管理等项目获得联邦高度认可。校报《The Daily Orange》创立于1903年，并于1971年独立。它属下有两间电台：WAER-FM及WERW-AM，还有一个校园电视网络HillTV。
