立思辰留学360介绍：奥柏林学院（Oberlin College 简称OC）是一所美国顶尖的私立文理学院，US News排名在20位左右。奥柏林学院位处俄亥俄州，是美国第一所实行黑人与妇女平等教育、让二者拥有与白人男性同等的大学教育机会以及获得大学学位的权利的高等学府，也是自由主义的先驱。1983年150周年校庆时，纽约时报曾经报导说“In its century and a half， while Harvard worried about the classics and Yale about God，Oberlin worried about the state of America and the world beyond（翻译：在欧柏林一个半世纪的历史中，当哈佛在担忧古典和耶鲁在担忧神的时候，奥柏林则是在担心美国的现状以及在那之上的整个世界）”。
Oberlin的音乐学院（the conservatory of music）是美国最古老的坚持运作的音乐学院。奥柏林也是唯一一所音乐与文理学院紧密结合的大学。 每年有500多场音乐会，其交响乐团也享誉全美。OC的座右铭是“Learning and Labor”，体现了OC将学习与现实结合的灵活教育。Oberlin的口号则是“We are Oberlin， fearless（我们欧柏林，勇往无惧）”。
