乔治梅森大学（George Mason University，简称GMU）是美国著名的一级国家级大学，是近十年来在美国迅速崛起的一所主要的大学。学校正式成立于1972年，前身是弗吉尼亚大学的附属学院，独立后锐意拓展，在短短的40多年间就有两位诺贝尔经济学奖获得者和三位普利策奖得主先后加盟。
校园位于弗吉尼亚州费尔法克斯市，距离美国首都华盛顿特区仅15里，是一个安全的郊外社区，气候温和，四季分明。学生可以乘坐乔治梅森大学提供的免费班车或乘坐免费的费尔法克斯CUE巴士到达华盛顿的地铁站口。费尔法克斯经济活跃，有许多高科技产业、政府部门和服务业，优越的地理位置使学生有诸多进入世界500强企业实习和工作的机会。
