路易斯安那州立大学（Louisiana State University，缩写LSU），全称“路易斯安那州立大学暨农业与医学院（Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College）”，但一般都只简称为路易斯安那州立大学，成立于1860年，位于路易斯安那州首府巴吞鲁日市，是一所大型公立研究型大学。路易斯安那州立大学是路易斯安那州立大学系统的旗舰学校，从入学人数讲，也是该州最大的高等教育机构，拥有14个学术学院，在校学生近3万名。*(1)

校园环境

路易斯安那州立大学成立于1853年，初名路易斯安那州立军事学习学校（Louisiana State Seminary of Learning & Military Academy）。现在的校园始建于1926年，总面积8.1平方公里，主要校园位于密西西比河沿岸，占地2.6平方公里，拥有250多栋建筑物，主要以意大利文艺复兴时期著名建筑师安德烈亚·帕拉第奥（Andrea Palladio）风格为主。路易斯安那州立大学校园以拥有1200多株常绿橡树（Live oak）而著名，橡树撒下的绿茵笼罩着整个校园，映衬着古典风格的建筑，密西西比河上吹来的清风似有还无，让路易斯安那州立大学成为了美国拥有最美丽的校园的学校之一。*(2)
