德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校（University of Texas at Austin, UT, University of Texas,或Texas）是一所公立研究型大学亦是德州大学系统成员之一，也是该系统的旗舰学校。学校成立于1883年，校址靠近德州首府奥斯汀。该校保持着全美单一校园中学生人数第5大的大学，目前依然是全德州人数最多的大学。德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校还被誉为“公立常春藤”院校。
公共事务学院
德克萨斯公共事务学院（Lyndon B.Johnson School of Public Affair，缩写LBJ）成立于1965年，现有硕士研究生350多人，博士研究生30多人，国际学生众多开设有以下四种学位项目：
- 公共事务硕士（Master of Public Affairs,M.Paff）
- 全球政策研究硕士（Master of Global Policy Studies,MGPS）
- 公共政策博士（Ph.D. in Public Policy）
- Executive Master in Public Leadership (EMPL)*(1)
其中EMPL项目针对的各领域在职人士，并非常规的学术课程，公共政策博士则要求学生必需具有硕士或其同等以上学历，其余应届本科毕业生均可申请，要求有GRE、TOEFL成绩，具体申请条件如下：
- TOEFL：总分100分以上，单项口语不低于26分；不接受IELTS成绩
- GRE：必需有GRE成绩，无最低分数要求
- GPA：不低于3.0 *(2)(3)(4)
注：公共事务硕士项目还包含有一个针对职业中期人士（Mid-Career Program）的项目，该项目春季、秋季均可申请，春季申请截止日期为10月1日，秋季申请截止日期为1月5日。 *(5)
