卡耐基梅隆大学（Carnegie Mellon或 CMU），中文又作“卡内基梅隆大学”，是一所中等大小的私立综合性全国大学，成立于1900年，由苏格兰美裔钢铁实业家安德鲁·卡耐基（Andrew Carnegie）创建而成，该校位于美国东部宾夕法尼亚州的匹兹堡市。学校创立之初是1900年的卡耐基该学院，最初抱着为匹兹堡地区劳工阶层的子女，提供职业学习教育的理念，教育目标是——“为匹兹堡的工人阶级子女提供良好的职业培训”。1913年，改名为卡耐基理工学院授予4年制本科学位；1967年，卡耐基理工学院与梅隆工业研究所 合并成为卡耐基梅隆大学。主校区占地面积140英亩，离匹兹堡市只有3英里。
