威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校通过威斯康辛大学申请系统（ apply.wisconsin.edu）申请，申请时无需选定自己要申请的学院及专业，一般9月1日起开放申请，第二年2月初截止申请（秋季学期入学）。
学术成绩要求：
- SAT：一般要求1810-2000以上，不要求有SAT Subject成绩，编号：1846

转学申请
威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校每年收到转学申请4000多份，录取学生1000多名，录取率在40%左右，是公立大学中转学比较热门的一个学校。威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校春、秋两个学期均可以转学，转学生可以就读大二、大三、大四任何学期。转学分数最高不超90分，具体可转多少学分，录取之后由所入读的学院评估。*(1)
